The Recreation and Parks Department allows
residents of San Francisco and non-residents to reserve cabins and
campsites for recreational use at
Camp Mather . Since space is limited, the department holds a
resident lottery and a non-resident lottery annually for applicants. All
San Francisco resident lottery applicants are processed before non-resident
lottery applicants.

Choose a maximum of 3 weeks for desirable reservation dates

Choose a maximum of 2 sizes of cabins/campsites

If you are not selected, you will be placed on a waiting list, and the application deposit will be credited to your credit card

Placement on the waiting list is limited to your 3 week choices and ranked by original lottery number. If you are called from the waiting list for ANY
of your choices, you must either accept the offer, or be removed from the list. You cannot turn down any offer and remain on the waiting list
to wait for another of your choices to open.

If selected, your reservation confirmation will be mailed by the end of March

There has been a 1.6% rate increase based on the annual Consumer Price Index
adjustment
